OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT: Creating an innovative and sustainable framework, favorable to the development of entrepreneurial skills of 341 students in order to establish and create jobs in business sectors with competitive potential This project capitalises on the complementary experiences of S and P1, S — higher education institution with tradition in supporting innovative initiatives and technologies, P1 — organisation with complex experience in developing business acceleration programs (training, mentoring, financing, support in sustainability) in creating an intervention that facilitates the creation of an innovative and sustainable framework, favorable to the development of entrepreneurial skills of 341 students in order to set up and create jobs in potentially competitive economic sectors. StartUPT capitalises on the lessons learned by P1 as a grant administrator within 3 funding lines — Romania Start-Up (1 project), Romania Start-up Plus (4 projects), SOLIDAR (2 projects). The project also integrates experience from the Start-up@CENTRU Accelerator (funded by RSUP) — where most of the supported businesses are in sectors with competitive potential such as IT and creative industries. Some of these businesses are briefly mentioned below: • Competitors App — software application that automates the process of tracking the activity of competitors on the market — was among the finalists Start Up Avalanche — Techsylvania 2019 and was selected in a program of acceleration in Sweden, • Medicentrum — telemedicine platform — nominated for the Webstock 2020 Awards (is the biggest event about social media on the local market), • The Wood Doctor (Adela Chivarean) — restoration of cultural and heritage goods — part of the team with which he restores furniture and houses the Prince Charles Foundation, • Soflete.ro — platform of vlogging in materials in the field of energy efficiency, constructions, constructions — part of the team with which he restores furniture and houses the Prince Charles Foundation, • Soflete.ro — vlogging platform in the field of energy efficiency, constructions, constructions. Through this initiative, we effectively combine the strengths of each of the two organisations so as to stimulate and develop creative, innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship, thus forming and creating a strong open-source community through which members will be encouraged to transform their ideas into viable business, professionally and with integrated support, the road to prototyping and business market launch.
