General Objective: Increasing the quality of life of the population in Mun. Honest by facilitating access to information and documentation services in accordance with European standards and best practices, training needs, use of information technology for knowledge and problem solving for active and responsible participation in social life of the targeted group of beneficiaries in order to reduce the risk of poverty and social exclusion. Sustainable development and increasing living standards in Mun. Honesty is dependent on improving the educational offer, the higher level of education of the population being an essential condition for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, on offering opportunities to spend quality leisure time, but also on improving the quality and aspect of the urban public infrastructure. For these reasons, the project aims to improve cultural-recreative services, as well as to improve urban public spaces, with implications for improving the quality of life of the population in general. The advantage of this integrated approach to the problems in the city (social, educational, cultural-recreative services and undersised and unmodernised urban public infrastructure, etc.) is the fact that several requirements and needs of the population can be solved simultaneously, between which there are interdependence relationships, thus contributing to the realisation of the vision of the development of cities/municipalities. The implementation of the project at the territorial level of UAT Onesti (including the surrounding villages) provides for an integrated approach to activities, derived from the Local Development Strategy which contains integrated activities regarding both investments in social and/or educational and/or cultural-recreative services, as well as on urban public infrastructure. The realisation of the investment will trigger the improvement of living and working conditions in Mun. Honest, ensuring an increase in the cultural and social level of the population. By facilitating access to culture and education, all residents will enjoy equal opportunities, thus increasing the level of education, socialisation and culture of all citizens (children, young people, adults, elderly, people with special needs, at risk of vulnerability) will represent a favorable impact for the locality. Thus, the general objective of this project is part of the specific objective of the program, namely “Improving the quality of life of the population in small and medium-sized cities in Romania”.
