“Introduction of smart natural gas grids in Oradea Metropolitan Area — stage 1”

The main objective of the project is the establishment of an intelligent gas distribution network in the communes of Nojorid, Osorhei and Paleu, Bihor county in 33 months from the signing of the grant agreement. This objective aims to increase the degree of comfort of the inhabitants of the communes and the economic development of the area, by creating an intelligent system of natural gas supply to domestic and non-household consumers in the communes, which will be integrated with the existing infrastructure and correlated with future investments to reduce the effects of air pollution and increase energy efficiency. Of the total existing consumer groups (houses+blocks+public institutions+businesses)-5.148 (com. Nojorid: 1,222/com. Osorhei: 2.012/com. Paleu 1.914 pcs.) and of the total equivalent households 5.186 (com. Nojorid: 1233 pcs/com Osorhei:2.029pcs/com.Paleu:1.924pcs) proposed for connection 3.810 equivalent households. For the calculation of the flow rate for the dimensioning of the smart gas distribution grid, a connection rate of 73.47 % was expected (the ratio was calculated as the percentage of the number of equivalent households for connection 3.810 and their total number of equivalent households-5.186), taking into account: — the options expressed by the citizens (check the Commitments uploaded in the Applicant section); — connection rate for U.A.T. — similar/approximate location and number of households; — the costs of achieving an individual heating system based on the use of natural gas relative to the reduced financial possibilities of some of the inhabitants; the fact that some of the individual households are used only as weekend homes/holidays; — the existence of heating systems based on other fuels, etc. On the basis of the above, a number of 3810 households are proposed for connection (3734 household consumers + 2*38=76 public institutions) The estimated average annual consumption for public institutions (social economic objectives) is 3892 Nmc/year for a public institution. Taking into account the specifications of the LIOP guide regarding the reference to 150 Nmc/month, i.e. 1800 Nmc/annual, results in an equivalent of 2,16 equivalent households for a public institution, taking into account the value 2. As a result, the number of equivalent households at project area level is 5186 = 4834+ 276+ 2*38: The level of intelligent functionality of the natural gas distribution infrastructure, the result indicator 2S135, for the proposed project is 0.2389 %, reporting the length of the Intelligent Transmission and Distribution Networks foreseen by the project (indicator 2S134-135.435 km), to the total length of the natural gas distribution network at national level was 56 694 km.The intelligent functionality of the natural gas distribution infrastructure, the result indicator 2S135, for the project
