Increasing the level of intelligent functionality of the natural gas distribution infrastructure used for the implementation of the Community utility service for natural gas supply to the population, in accordance with the legislation in force, by improving flexibility, safety, efficiency in operation, in particular by using IT technologies to support supply and demand challenges as well as by integrating transmission, distribution and final consumption activities. Through this project, a newly built natural gas distribution network will be developed with intelligent functionality, with the following lengths: — Cocorastii Mislii — 23.095 m — Valcanesti — 31.805 m — Cosmines — 17.555 m — Dumbravesti — 36.950 m — Varbilau — 51.655 m — ALUNIS -34.230 m — Stefesti — 22.895 m — BERTEA — 27.065 m — SLANIC — 52.630 m The realisation of the project will contribute to the expansion of the smart natural gas network in relation to the total length of the distribution networks in Romania (56.694 km) and will increase the degree of connection as follows: Mislii Cocorastii — 0.04 % — Valcanesti — 0.05 % — Cosmines — 0.03 % — Dumbravesti — 0.06 % — Varbilau — 0.09 % — ALUNIS — 0.06 % — Stefesti — 0.04 % — BERTEA — 0.04 % — SLANIC — 0.09 % At the level of the localities included in the project, a total of 13.468 existing households were identified (13,350 individual households and 118 socio-cultural buildings), as follows: THE FOOLS OF THE MISLES — 1245; VALCANESTI — 1229; COSMINES — 433; DUMBRAVESTI — 1487; VARBILAU — 2920; ALUNIS — 1468; STEFESTI — 1036; BERTEA — 1058; SLANIC — 2592. Through the project are proposed for connection a number of 8159 households and public institutions — 8041 households and 118 public institutions, ensuring a connection degree of 60.58 %, as follows: 631, VALCANESTI — 901, COSMINELE — 346, DUMBRAVESTI — 747; VARBILAU — 1820; ALUNIS — 956; STEFESTI — 537; BERTEA — 603, SLANIC — 1618. The project contributes to the result indicator of the programme (Intelligent functionality level of natural gas distribution infrastructure) by using intelligent instruments in the field of pressure, metering, flow rates, internal pipeline inspection, odorisation, cathodic protection, anticipatory reactions, traceability over the entire length of --297.880 km of the distribution network, which will contribute to the 0.52 % increase (relating to the total length of distribution networks in Romania) of the share of smart grids.
