Increasing patient safety from the point of view of fire safety in hospitals subordinated to Brasov County Council

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the capacity to manage the emergency situation caused by the COVID-19 health crisis, at the level of hospitals subordinated to the County Council of Brasov — CLINIC SPITAL OF URGENT FOR BRASOV Children (SCBV), GINECOLOGIE CLINICAL OBSTETRICA SPITAL “DR. IOAN AUREL Sbarcea” BRASOV (SOGBV), BRASOV CLINIC SPITAL OF PNEUMOFTIZIOLOGY (SPNEBV), CLINIC SPITAL OF PSIHIATRIA AND BRASOV NEUROLOGY (SPNBV) and the JUDETEAN CLINIC SPITAL OF URGENT BRASOV (SJBV). The 5 hospitals provide medical assistance for patients, confirmed and suspicious cases of COVID-19 — NIVEL III hospital, according to ANNEX No. 2 List of hospitals and dialysis units providing medical assistance for patients, confirmed and suspected cases of COVID-19 of WHO 434/2021 issued by the Ministry of Health, as follows: Clinical Emergency Hospital for BRASOV Children (SCBV) — hospital of NIVEL II SPITAL CLINIC OF OBSTETRIC GINECOLOGY “DR. IOAN AUREL Sbarcea” BRASOV (SOGBV) — NIVEL III Hospital with the Department of Diseases infectious Brasov within BRASOV CLINIC PNEUMOFTIZIOLOGY SPITAL (formerly Brasov Clinical Hospital of Infectious Diseases, which was a public health unit with beds, with legal personality until March 2022) — NIVEL II Hospital CLINIC SPITAL OF PSIHIATRIA AND BRASOV NEUROLOGY (SPNBV) — NIVEL II hospital BRASOV (SJBV) — NIVEL I Hospital Strengthening the emergency management capacity caused by the COVID health crisis — 19, at the level of hospitals subordinated to Brasov County Council, will be achieved by increasing fire safety in hospitals, respectively by equipping with detection, signalling and fire warning systems and/or systems for detection, signalling and alarming oxygen concentration. Since the beginning of the pandemic, in April — May 2020, the 5 hospitals subordinated to the County Council of Brasov had to handle suspicious cases of COVID-19 and confirmed respectively, being in the list of COVID/FAZA II/FAZA I hospitals designated by Order No 555/03.04.2020 issued by the Ministry of Health. After the number of Covid hospitals in the country increased, the 5 hospitals subordinated to the County Council of Brasov remained COVID hospitals, serving the population of Brasov County. Given the evolution of SARS-COV-2 virus in recent months, in the world and in Romania, with the 5th wave of coronavirus already installed with the Omicron variant, which is even more aggressive than the previous one, hospitals have become overburdened when the number of infections with the Omicron variant has increased, and the state of physical and moral wear and tear caused by the large number of patients of medical gas networks as well as electricity networks have become a major risk to the life and health of patients hospitalised. Thus, in order to prevent the lock-in of infrastructure
