Installation of a detection/signaling/alarming system of oxygen concentration and modernisation/extension of electrical infrastructure and medical fluids within the “Dr. Constantin Opriș” County Emergency Hospital, Baia Mare

The overall objective of the project is to increase the safety of patients of the “Dr. Constantin Opris” Emergency County Hospital by expanding and modernising electrical and medical fluid installations and installing oxygen concentration detection systems. The implementation of the proposed interventions will lead to the improvement of the existing electricity and medical fluid supply infrastructure and the increase of fire safety in the sections that use medical fluids to carry out the medical act in the Emergency County Hospital “Dr. Constantin Opris” in order to ensure a timely and efficient response of the public medical system in Maramureş County to the crisis caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus, in the context of strengthening the medical infrastructure to cope with the high challenges of combating the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus the proposed project will contribute to the result indicator of POIM 2S132 Adequate capacity for care and treatment of cases of SARS-CoV-2/infection to manage the health crisis, respectively qualitative indicator before LIOP: Not after LIM: YES, YES.
