Creating a 60-bed mobile medical capacity within Resita Emergency County Hospital to extend the treatment capacity of ATI and Infectious Diseases sections in order to ensure a timely and effective response of the public medical system to the COVID crisis — 19 necessary for proper treatment of patients tested positive or suspect with SARS-CoV-2 virus. By equipping with protective equipment that will be used directly for both infection prevention and in the treatment of COVID-19 infection, the capacity for care and treatment will be improved. Capacity for intervention at present: —outdated buildings, which by way of organisation segment the workflows, making it difficult to establish quickly and accurately the diagnosis of each patient — small number of intensive care beds for the treatment of serious cases -high risk of infection for patients with other pathologies in the hospital -protocols difficult to isolate COVID-19 cases. How the intervention capacity will be improved after the implementation of the project: The COVID-19 treatment unit is isolated from the rest of the hospital -Shorts the risk of infection for patients with other pathologies — Increases the number of beds available to critical patients with COVID-19 -Investment can subsequently be reused as a section of ITA, infectious diseases or other sections as needed. In this way the project contributes to the achievement of the result indicator of POIM 2S132 — Adequate ability to care and treat cases of infection with SARS-CoV-2/health crisis management virus (Quality Indicator: Before the POIM Intervention: NO, NO, NO, NO.
