EQUIPPING THE EDUCATIONAL UNITS IN DOROHOI MUNICIPALITY WITH MEDICAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT SARS-COV-2

The reopening of safe schools requires a broad ownership in society and the empowerment of all those involved in order to comply with the required norms, in the context of prevention, early detection and reduction of the potential spread of infection caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. To allow this, it is necessary to ensure that there is a functioning infrastructure and the necessary material resources in order to be able to apply the minimum health and protection measures in educational establishments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ability to manage the health crisis before intervention: school units have implemented and complied with a series of general and specific measures, in the context of the pandemic caused by the SARS-COV-2 virus. Essential measures to achieve the goal of preventing/limiting disease as far as possible include: Rigorous hand hygiene; — Firm cleaning and disinfection measures in the pre-university education unit; — The wearing of the protective mask both by students and by the entire teaching, auxiliary and non-teaching staff during the entire period when they are inside the educational unit; Limit the contact between students from different classes. Avoid changing the classroom by students over the course of a day. Ensuring a distance of at least 1 meter; Each child keeps the same place in the bank throughout his/her attendance in the classroom; Permanently informing the staff, pupils and parents/partners about the measures to protect against SARSCoV-2 infection; The need to isolate students at home, in case of fever or other symptoms of COVID-19 suspicion (coughing, difficulty breathing, loss of taste and smell) in the student or another family member. The organisation of the educational process takes into account, in addition to starting classes at different time intervals, the organisation of classrooms so as to ensure physical distance between students, as well as the organisation of activities during breaks, in order to avoid crowds at the entrance and exit during breaks. Given the imminent need for the beginning of the school year through the physical presence of both pupils and teachers in the state pre-university education units, the proper development of the educational process in the school year 2020/2021 implies a series of necessary measures in the context of the pandemic situation created by SARS-Cov-2 virus, in order to avoid a rapid increase of coronavirus infection. Limiting the spread of the virus, as well as its extremely serious effects on the population of Romania, can be achieved by ensuring the availability of medical protection equipment and ensuring the minimum hygienic-sanitary conditions necessary, so that UAT Dorohoi Municipality through the implementation of the project “DOTAINATION OF INVATAMANT UNITS IN THE MUN”
