The objective of the project “Building social housing (30 apartments)” is to support the disadvantaged community in Turda, by building social housing, in order to ensure decent living conditions. The main purpose of the project “Building social housing (30 apartments)” is: — construction of social housing — dwellings with subsidised rent, intended for certain disadvantaged categories provided by law, whose level of existence does not allow access to a house in property or rent a dwelling under market conditions; ensuring decent living conditions for disadvantaged social groups. The project will have a positive impact on improving the quality of life of the community in Turda whose influence area is the object of the project. The proposed project contributes to the achievement of the general objective of reducing by 2023 the number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion in marginalised urban areas of Turda municipality, along with improving the quality of life, increasing social cohesion, improving the living environment and economic growth in the territory of the LDS. Specific objectives: — Increasing the performance of the social inclusion system; Ensuring social fairness policies; Ensuring skills and competences that allow personal, intellectual and professional development from the perspective of lifelong learning; Increasing the number of preschool students integrated or reintegrated into the education system by supporting them in the process of integration into society; — Strengthening the degree of social cohesion and increasing participation in economic and social development programs by promoting active citizenship; Building the knowledge society by transforming education into a vector of socio-economic development.
