The objective of this project is to strengthen the capacity of non-governmental organisations in Mogosoaia and Ilfov County to get involved in formulating and promoting development at local level. In this regard, the project aims to establish a Partnership for Local Development, functional 6 months after the completion of the project, between Mogosoaia Local Public Authority, NGOs and social partners in the area, and to develop the capacity of 30 people, their representatives through trainings in the field of monitoring local strategies and policies and participation in decision-making processes, promoting equal opportunities and non-discrimination. Thus, the overall objective of this project contributes to the achievement of the overall objective of the POCA by strengthening the institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and the efficiency of the public administration. This project also contributes to the achievement of POCA OS2.1, namely the Introduction of common systems and standards in local public administration that optimises beneficiary-oriented processes in accordance with SCAP, the expected outcome of POCA R4: Increased capacity of NGOs and social partners to get involved in formulating and promoting development at local level, 5S21 result indicators by concluding a partnership between ATU Mogosoaia and NGOs/social partners, functional 6 months after the completion of the projects, respectively the 5S60 output indicator, as well as with the result indicator 5S22 by certifying 30 participants from NGOs/social partners at the end of the training quality and the achievement indicator 5S61 by ensuring the participation of 30 people from NGOs and social partners participating in training activities. POSITIVE LONG-TERM EFFECT: Following the participation in the training sessions organised through the project, as well as through the involvement of NGOs and social partners within the Local Development Presidency, the project will increase the capacity of NGOs and social partners to get involved in formulating and promoting development at local level. By improving the training and competencies of the staff of NGOs and social partners in terms of local development, the way of monitoring, elaborating and evaluating local development strategies as well as ways of interacting with local decision-makers, the project will ensure the presence of an increased interest for involvement in the formation and promotion of development at local level.
