The overall objective of the project is to increase the number of tertiary university graduates who find a job as a result of the development of a compex program of support for self-employment through entrepreneurial development in order to develop a business in one of the sectors idetified as competitive through the National Strategy for Competitiveness 2014-2020 (SNC2014-2020) in correlation with the areas of smart specialisation identified through the National Strategy for Research Development Innovation 2014-2020. In order to achieve the overall objective, the project proposes for financing a complex set of intervention aimed at ensuring the luggage of knowledge and skills for the development of an applicable and sustainable business plan. Taking into account the general objective mentioned above, the project proposed for financing falls under priority axis 6 of the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020, investment priority 10 iv “Improving the utility of education and training systems for the labour market, facilitating the transition from education to work and strengthening education and training systems and their quality, including through mechanisms for anticipating skills, adapting education programmes and creating and developing work-based learning systems, including dual learning and apprenticeship systems”: Specific Objective 6.13 “Increasing the number of tertiary and non-university education graduates who find a job as a result of access to learning activities to a potential job/research/innovation, with a focus on economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to CNS and areas of smart specialisation according to SNCDI”. The project proposed for financing falls within the specific objective 6.13 of OPCU 2014-2020 not only through the general objective of the project “increasing the occupancy of tertiary university graduates” but also through the activities proposed for financing, activities mentioned in POCU 204-2020 as well as activities to be financed to achieve OS 6.13, namely training activities of entrepreneurial skills; counseling/consultant/mentoring activities in order to start a business on own account in the economic sectors with competitive potential identified according to the CNS and in the fields of smart specialisation according to SNCDI addressed to students (ISCED 4-8); awarding micro grants to start a business (see Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020 version July 2020 available at http://mfe.gov.ro/programe/autoritati-de-management/am-pocu/ - page 231-232).
