The overall objective of the project is to increase the capacity of GO-AHEAD Association and other non-governmental organisations to get involved in the formulation and promotion of local development, by participating in training programs on current topics, implementing procedures, mechanisms, programs and awareness campaigns of Active Citizenship and Digital Competence dedicated to citizens of Sector 4. By achieving the general objective, the project contributes to achieving the purpose of the call for projects, namely: to strengthen the capacity of non-governmental organisations to get involved in the formulation and promotion of development at local level, resulting in 1 Partnership for local development supported by the project between GO-AHEAD Association and the City Hall of Sector 4, respectively 30 participants from active NGOs from Sector 4 to training activities. Thus the objective of the project contributes to the specific objective 2.1 of the POCA — Introducing common systems and standards in the local public administration that optimises the processes oriented towards beneficiaries in accordance with the SCAP, by implementing procedures, mechanisms, programs and digital awareness campaigns dedicated to citizens of Sector 4 (Digital Facilities Map, dedicated materials available online, “Digital Competences for an Active Citizenship” course dedicated to citizens) and following the result targeted by CP14/2021-R4: Increased capacity of NGOs and social partners to engage in formulating and promoting development at local level. The project also targets consultation sessions with NGOs, social partners, accredited higher education institutions on the objectives and activities of the project, the conclusion of partnerships with NGOs active at Sector 4 level in order to jointly support initiatives dedicated to active citizenship and digital competences and training courses for the development of specific intervention skills in local development for 30 representatives of the Applicant and NGOs with whom partnerships have been concluded.
