The general objective of the project is to ensure the reopening in maximum safe conditions of the school located within the territorial range of the Jurilovca Commune. This is possible by equipping with materials and equipment indispensable to the application of sanitary and protective measures, being necessary to prevent and combat infection with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. In this way, the training hours during the teaching activities can also take place in the classrooms, not only in the online environment. By ensuring the functional infrastructure within the classrooms and school annexes, the necessary sanitary measures will be able to carry out the educational process, without affecting the social life of the pupils, by restricting the freedom to collaborate with their colleagues and to come into contact with other children of the same age. Thus, the transmission of information and the deepening of knowledge will be supported by interweaving the activities carried out in the traditional way (by attending classes in the classroom), complemented by educational activities carried out digitised. Through the project will lay the foundations of an integrated environment, able to meet the specific needs of the student, increasing the attractiveness of the educational act and preventing school dropout. Flexible learning models will facilitate and support learning. Ensuring the need for sanitary supplies, as well as making available to pupils and teachers such materials to prevent infection with SARS CoV-2 virus, indirectly contribute to the result indicator of the programme “Appropriate care and treatment capacity for cases of SARS-CoV-2/health crisis management” by limiting the potential number of cases of infection that should be treated in the public health system. In order to allow this, the present project provides for the purchase of medical protection equipment/devices and ensuring the minimum necessary hygienic-sanitary conditions, namely: protective masks for students, teachers and administrative staff, hand disinfectant, disinfectant surfaces, dispensers with disinfectants and bactericidal solutions, liquid soap, disposable gloves, protective waterproof suits, selective collection baskets and UV-C lamps sterilising air. In addition to a correct information of pupils and teachers on the general rules to be observed in order to prevent infection and spread with SARS-C virus, with the purchase of UV-C lamps will be able to disinfect the rooms/class rooms with ultraviolet light that is effective up to 99.99 % against bacteria, viruses and mold in the rooms. The objective of the project is directly consistent with the general objective of the applicant’s guide within the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme, Priority Axis 9 Protection of population health in the context of pandemics
