Increasing the capacity of Mavromati County Emergency Hospital Botosani to manage the COVID-19 health crisis

The overall objective of the project is to develop the health infrastructure through investments that increase the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis. They contribute to the development of local operationalisation, reduce inequalities in public health, improve access to quality healthcare and increase the capacity to manage crisis situations in the context of the pandemic. The project aims to modernise and modernise poor sanitary infrastructures, which continue to use physical and morally worn equipment, through the acquisition of new and efficient equipment capable of providing an increase in the quality of services and an improvement of public health. providing the necessary equipment for all hospital employees (over 2300 employees); —ensure disinfection and create the functional circuits necessary to combat the spread of SARS COV2 virus; —modernisation of the ATI section (ventilators, ATI beds, vertical beds, videolaringoscope, mobile digital Rx, etc.); —decreasing waiting times and creating spaces for sorting in the COVID context at the Emergency Reception Unit and the guard rooms of the outdoor sections (movable triage units properly equipped, coronavirus test devices for medical emergencies, mobile digital Rx, etc.) — infectious waste disposal equipment for all the external departments of the hospital (paediatric maternity, infectious diseases, Saveni, Darabani and headquarters). The elimination of infectious waste by autoclaving it reduces the risk of contamination and leads to the protection of employees and the environment. In COVID-support hospitals, all medical waste is considered infectious waste. The project contributes to achieving the result indicator of POIM2S132 — Adequate ability to care and treat cases of SARS-CoV-2/infection to manage the health crisis.
