Strengthening the capacity of Targoviste County Emergency Hospital to manage the COVID-19 health crisis by creating medical logistics containers

General objective: Protecting the health of the population in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic by investing in diagnostic and treatment medical logistics containers that reduce health inequalities and strengthen the responsiveness of the TARGOVISTE URGENT SPITAL to the public health crisis caused by the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus. The project proposal complies with Order No 1404/23.11.2020 and fulfils the conditions of the Applicant’s Guide to Appellate Code:POIM/819/9/1/Strengthening the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis by creating mobile medical capabilities/mobile medical diagnostic and treatment trainings used to combat the spread of COVID-19/modular hospitals role 1,2 and 3/medical logistics containers, taking into account the evolution of the epidemiological situation in Romania and the assessment of the public health risk for the next period, indicating an increase in the number of infected people and exceeding the capacity of the health facilities, as well as by contributing to the immediate achievement indicator related to type B projects, namely: “Type B projects will necessarily propose a contribution to the following immediate output indicator: 2S131 Mobile Medical Units, as set out in section “Determined Indicators”. The impact of the long-term project/S.J.T’s timely and effective response to the COVID crisis — 19 SARS-CoV-2 is a highly contagious virus that has already caused an unprecedented health crisis and the death of a large number of people globally and in European Union countries, including Romania. Given that limiting the spread of the virus, as well as its extremely serious effects on the population of Romania, can be achieved only by ensuring the availability of medical devices and devices, it is necessary to properly equip the public health units in which cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection are treated. Targoviste County Emergency Hospital is the most representative health unit of Dambovita County and of the microregion, which includes sections and compartments in different specialties, investigation and treatment laboratories. The hospital provides medical care not only to the inhabitants of the municipality and of the region, but also to a large number of patients from other localities of Dambovita county. Targoviste County Emergency Hospital has a great addressability, both from the perspective of the large number of patients treated, as well as of the numerous pathologies addressed, almost completely serving the medical needs of the inhabitants of Dambovita county.
