The overall objective of the project is to improve the quality of life, increase social cohesion, improve the living environment and economic growth in the Bahne marginalised area, with effects on reducing the number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion, by building a Multifunctional Center, aimed at carrying out educational, cultural, recreational and social activities, as well as by setting up a children’s playground and a green space, addressing the adult population and children in the Bahne neighborhood. Through its activities, the project will lead to a sustainable social development and increase the quality of life of both the inhabitants of ZUM and those in the functional urban area, to improve the urban aspect of the area and, last but not least, to change the negative image of the inhabitants of ZUMs and to desegregation, ensuring the achievement of the specific objectives. The overall objective of the project is fully in line with the specific objective of Priority Axis 9 — Supporting the economic and social regeneration of disadvantaged urban communities, Investment Priority 9.1 — Community-led local development, Specific Objective OS 9.1 — Reducing the number of people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, through integrated measures, the project directly contributing to the achievement of this objective and the achievement of investment priority indicators.
