The overall objective of the project is within the general objective of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, which consists of improving the living conditions of local communities by supporting the development of infrastructure conditions and services, ensuring a sustainable development of the regions, capable of efficiently managing resources and exploiting their potential for innovation and assimilation of technological progress. Also, the overall objective of the project falls within the objective of investment priority 3.1 B, by optimising energy efficiency in public infrastructures that record high energy consumption. General objective of the project “Works of interventions to increase energy performance: The Nicolae Cartojan High School in Giurgiu Municipality is the increase of energy efficiency in the school unit building located in Giurgiu, Str. August 23, no. 9, by optimising energy efficiency, in order to improve indoor comfort conditions, reduce energy losses and, implicitly, decrease thermal energy costs. The general objective contributes to increasing the efficiency and efficiency of the public administration, for the socio-economic benefit of the local society by implementing, in 12 months, some energy measures to increase the quality and efficiency of the public services provided by the Municipality of Giurgiu.
