Minifootball land and playground in Herendeşti-Bocşei district

The overall objective of this project is to reduce the number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion by increasing the access to the basic infrastructure in the municipality of Lugoj by setting up a minifootball field and one playground for children in ZUM 2 — Herendesti. The investment proposed by the project will respond to the needs of marginalised urban communities ZUM 2 that will have the effect of physical revitalisation (creating a new social infrastructure, modern and adapted to the needs of vulnerable people), economic (improving housing conditions for vulnerable people that have as a medium and long term increasing employment, healthy and productive workforce, avoiding all social costs associated with precarious/insured/unsafe housing or lack of housing) and social (direct impact on health status; improving the school performance of children; increasing the employment rate among adults; avoid situations of risk and social exclusion). In the long term, this project will integrate with the investments that will be made following the implementation of the LOCAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY GAL “STRATEGIE RESPONSABILITY COMMUNITY FOR LUGOJ MUNICIPIUL”, financed through the CLLD mechanism, within the public-private partnership that Lugoj Municipality has established and financed. Together with the investment plan within the Local Development Strategy placed under the responsibility of the community, this project can offer solutions in an increasingly diverse and complex context, aiming at innovation and achieving results that bring lasting changes in the community. The project will also lead to the completion of the LOCAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY and to the implementation of the Regional Operational Programme, aiming at integrating the development needs into the entire public programmes and policies of Romania, as a Member State of the European Union.
