IMPROVING COVID 19 MANAGEMENT CAPACITY AT SLATINA COUNTY EMERGENCY HOSPITAL

The overall objective of the project is to increase the capacity of diagnosis, treatment and medical care provided to patients suspected or confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 infection in a timely and efficient manner, by equipping the Slatina County Emergency Hospital with medical equipment. The equipment proposed to be purchased is intended both for the proper diagnosis and care of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2, in order to provide specific health services for this infection, as well as to prevent the spread of SARS CoV-2 infection. Through the investments proposed by the project, it will contribute to the result indicator of POIM 2S132 — Adequate ability to care and treat cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection, to manage the health crisis, by improving the medical act and improving the treatment capacity in case of worsening of patients’ situation. — Endowment of Slatina County Emergency Hospital with medical equipment and equipment, medical devices to ensure the management of the health crisis caused by SARS-CoV-2: managing a large influx of patients with complex pathology, including the potential for COVID infection, all of these measures are necessary to limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus. Capacity to manage the health crisis: equipping Slatina County Emergency Hospital with medical equipment and equipment, medical devices will make the health unit better prepared to act promptly and with appropriate means, thus contributing to the timely and efficient response of the public medical system to the COVID-19 crisis. The result indicator of POIM 2S132 — Adequate ability to care and treat cases of SARS-CoV-2/infection management of the health crisis — The indicator is qualitative: Before the LIOP intervention: NO, NO, NO, NO. After the LIOP intervention: YES, YES. The overall objective is in line with Specific Objective 9.1 Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis aims to promote the investments needed to strengthen the response capacity to the public health crisis caused by the spread of SARS-CoV-2 by directly contributing to the development of health infrastructure, by investing in equipment and equipment/specific equipment, thus contributing to the development of operationality at national, regional and local level, reducing inequalities in public health conditions and improving access to quality medical services.
