Today’s student the entrepreneur tomorrow!

The overall objective of the project is to increase the labour market relevance of education and training programs by developing the entrepreneurial and managerial skills of 342 students, in order to increase employment by supporting the establishment and development of 21 enterprises in the North West region. The aim of the project is to facilitate the transition from school to entrepreneurship by developing students’ entrepreneurial skills in order to set up their own businesses. Through a de minimis aid scheme, 21 business plans will be financed, targeting the development of enterprises in the fields and subfields of smart development and health identified by SNCDI, each amounting to a minimum of 40,000, maximum EUR 100.000. They will be selected following a competition of business ideas that will be conducted on the basis of a transparent and non-discriminatory competition methodology. Each company will create at least 2 jobs (for financing worth EUR 40.000), minimum 3 jobs for financing with a value of more than 40,000 but less than or equal to EUR 60.000, minimum 5 jobs for financing worth EUR 100,000, therefore following the implementation of this project will be created at least 67 jobs, at the level of the region. Thus, the project meets the specific objective of the programme, and by increasing the employment rate it will generate a positive long-term effect at the level of the region.
