INSPIRE 2020! Innovative Business for a Successful Entrepreneurship Environment

The overall objective of the project 'INSPIRE 2020! “Innovative business for a successful entrepreneurial environment”, ID MySMIS 142110 consists of increasing the student employment rate by running an integrated entrepreneurship program, in which 350 students will benefit from authorised training in the development of Entrepreneurial Competences, and 22 of them, with entrepreneurial initiatives and viable business plans, will be selected to benefit from an intensive entrepreneurial training program (mentorate, consultancy, internships and simulated enterprises), as well as financial support amounting to 287,000 lei for the implementation of business plans for 12 months, creating at least 66 new jobs in no more than 6 months from the start of the implementation of the business plans. Business sustainability will be ensured through an Innovation Center for Entrepreneurship (C.I.A.) through which will develop mechanisms to support and promote all enterprises founded and financed within the project for a period of 6 months during the implementation of the project and of at least 70 % of the enterprises established for 9 months after the completion of the project implementation, including by elaborating a public policy proposal and measures for dissemination, capitalisation and transfer of good practices, thus facilitating a sustainable development of the entrepreneurial environment in Romania. The overall objective of the project contributes to strengthening the employment of higher education graduates in fields of activity identified as future in order to develop a competitive knowledge-based economy and reduce the period of time from graduation to employment of graduates. Through this project, the applicant University of Bucharest aims to provide support for the development of enterprises that are to be active in the economic sectors with competitive potential identification through CNS or considering development in the fields and subfields of smart development and health identified by SNCDI. Thus, in order to achieve the general objective will be organised promotion, information and selection activities aimed at enrolling in an entrepreneurial training program of 350 students. They will have the possibility to enroll an entrepreneurial idea transposed into a business plan within the competition for the selection of business plans. The best 22 students, as well as 3 reservations from the list of selected plans, will benefit from support in improving business ideas through their participation in 2 simulated enterprises, as well as in consultancy and mentoring activities.
