The overall objective of the project is to increase the capacity of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi to effectively manage the COVID 19 health crisis. This objective aims to equip the state higher education institution, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi (UAIC), with equipment, disinfectants, masks, suits, etc. in view of carrying out under preventive conditions the teaching activities related to the academic year 2020/2021 in the context of the risk of infection with SARS-Cov-2 virus, which is in line with the types of actions and activities eligible under this funding line. In this way, the UAIC aims to reduce the risk of spreading SARS — VOC-2 infection in the public university education system and therefore to limit the potential number of cases of infection that should be treated in the public health system.
