ProneETs — Fostering NEETs graduates’ integration into the labour market

Overall objective of the project: Increasing opportunities for employing 972 unemployed NEETs registered with the Public Employment Service (SPO) by subsidising jobs. In the light of the overall objective, the project subscribes to the POCU objective of ensuring the sustainable integration into the labour market of NEETs by the fact that, on the one hand, the SPO will provide facilities to employers who enter into employment, for an indefinite period, NEETs. The project is also part of Priority Axis 2 — Improving the situation of NEETs youth, investment priority, investment priority: 8.ii Sustainable integration into the labour market of young people (ESF), in particular those not in employment, education or training, including young people at risk of social exclusion and young people from marginalised communities, Specific Objective: 2.1. Increase employment of unemployed NEETs aged 16-29, registered with the Public Employment Service, residing in eligible regions. At the same time, the project responds to the public policy priorities of MMJS, namely reducing youth unemployment and facilitating their integration into the labour market. By enabling NEETs to benefit from these specific active employment measures, the project responds to the challenges identified in terms of sustainable integration of young people into the labour market and helps to address low youth employment rates as well as employers’ reluctance to hire young people.
