The overall objective of the project is to increase the level of qualification and employment for 204 unemployed and inactive people, with a focus on the long-term unemployed, older workers (55-64 years), people with disabilities, people with low level of education in the North-West development region, over a period of 9 months. This objective is consistent with the priorities included in the National Employment Strategy 2021-2027. The project is an integrated support for POCU objectives and will ensure direct contribution to the specific objectives of the programme: OS3.1: Increasing employment of unemployed and inactive people, with a focus on the long-term unemployed, older workers (55-64 years), persons with disabilities, people with low education and OS3.4: Improving skills levels, including by assessing and certifying skills acquired in the non-formal and informal system of unemployed and inactive people, with a focus on the long-term unemployed, older workers (55-64), persons with disabilities, low-education, by: • increasing the employment of 94 people (unemployed and inactive) in the North-West region on the labour market • improving the level of professional skills by participating in qualification programmes for 184 people in the target group (unemployed, inactive, long-term unemployed, older workers (55-64 years), persons with disabilities, people with low level of education and certification of 149 of them • improving the level of professional skills by participating in the assessment of skills for 20 people in the target group (unemployed, inactive, long-term unemployed, older workers (55-64 years), people with disabilities, people with low education levels and the certification of 16 of them. The purpose of providing specialised services and integrated measures within the Learning Workshop project, 2nd edition are: training for 204 unemployed and inactive people in the North-West development region with a focus on the long-term unemployed, older workers, people with disabilities and people with a low level of education in a period of 9 months and increasing their chances of employment. The team involved in the project aims to achieve a change of mindset in terms of specialised services and integrated measures provided in order to facilitate the integration of the target group members into the labour market and their sustainable employment, therefore the information, counselling and mediation measures for the target group will be provided in a manner tailored to their needs, skills and interests and adapted to the real needs of employers.
