The overall objective of the project is to increase the safety of patients within the Clinical Hospital of Infectious and Tropical Diseases “Dr. Victor Babes”, in order to manage the health crisis caused by SARS COV-2 virus, which aims to protect the health of the population and develop public health services by modernising and expanding the electrical, ventilation and air treatment infrastructure, as well as the medical fluid infrastructure, over a period of 28 months. The overall objective of the project is to achieve the specific objective of the call POIM/935/9.1 Increasing the capacity to manage the health crisis and promoting the investments needed to strengthen the response capacity to the public health crisis caused by the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus. The project contributes to the result indicator of LIOP 2S132 — capacity for care and treatment of cases of SARS VOC-2/infection to manage the health crisis by improving the medical fluid infrastructure, modernising electrical installations and equipping with detection and signalling systems. The main purpose of the project is to facilitate the access of the population to public health services with modernised medical infrastructure, access to health for patients in need of admission, in order to ensure a timely and efficient response of the medical system to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
