The overall objective of the project is to increase the quality of educational services by developing an integrated system of preventive measures to facilitate the reduction and prevention of early school leaving and to promote equal access to primary and secondary education in Neamt county for at least 321 pupils, with a focus on pupils belonging to the Roma minority and students from rural areas, including by improving the competences of 37 people in the category of teaching and support staff. The general objective of the project contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the relevant strategic documents and to the solution of the specific needs of the target group Through an integrated approach, the proposed project contributes to the achievement of the specific objectives of the program, on the one hand through integrated measures to prevent school dropout (through outdoor activities) for 321 pupils from primary, secondary and upper secondary education in Neamt County, with a focus on rural pupils and pupils belonging to the Roma community, and on the other hand by improving the competences of at least 37 persons from the category of teaching and support staff from Neamt county in order to promote quality educational services oriented to the needs of students and an inclusive school. The overall objective of the project contributes to the achievement of the Investment Priority — 10.i. Reducing and preventing early school leaving and promoting equal access to quality preschool, primary and secondary education, including formal, non-formal and informal learning pathways for reintegration into education and training The overall objective of the project is consistent with the objectives of the Strategy on reducing early school leaving in Romania and with the strategic priorities of the education system. The Education and Training Strategy is complementary to the Strategy for reducing early school leaving and the National Lifelong Learning Strategy 2015-2020 and proposes a global vision on the development/strengthening of the entire education and training system addressed to participants in lifelong learning. In this context, improving the competences of at least 37 persons in the category of teaching and support staff from Neamt County in order to promote quality educational services oriented to the needs of pupils and an inclusive school as we proposed as part of the overall objective of the project contributes in a relevant way to the improvement of the results of the reforms in the field of education and training in order to ensure an education adapted to the requirements of the labour market and centered on personal and social development. The strategy for reducing early school leaving in Romania prescribes the guiding principles, strategic pillars, target groups, directions of action and the estimated budget needed for reduction.
