The GENERAL objective of the project is to facilitate access to outdoor non-formal education programs for at least 36 teachers from compulsory pre-university education (ISCED 1-3, grades 0-X) and for at least 321 pupils from compulsory pre-university education (ISCED 1-3, 0-X grades), by providing sustainable non-formal educational services in the targeted communities and after the completion of the project, oriented on the needs of beneficiaries and an inclusive school, in order to increase the chances of educational development and sustainable professional improvement, as well as the degree of sustainable integration and adaptability of them to the current socio-economic dynamics of the socio-economic disadvantaged communities in Vaslui County. In other words, the project aims to design and develop integrated non-formal educational programs, aimed at training improved professional skills of the teaching staff in compulsory pre-university education, in order to promote quality educational services oriented to the needs of pupils and an inclusive school, as well as to support outdoor education by using non-formal methods in order to prevent early school leaving by pupils from compulsory pre-university education. The project aims at activities that value non-formal education, which is complementary to formal education, by focusing the educational act on the student and on the real learning needs, facilitating the identification of the needs for a better adaptation of the learning process. The outdoor non-formal education programs within the project involve the child interactively, being in line with his/her needs for vocational development, thus contributing to reducing the effects of the phenomenon of early school leaving and leaving school among pupils from compulsory pre-university education, with an emphasis on people from vulnerable groups, especially those belonging to the Roma minority, with disabilities or coming from the 3 rural areas, respectively from the socio-economically disadvantaged communities partnered in the project. CONTRIBUTION OF THE PROJECT TO THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE OF OPCU 2014-2020: Through its general objective, the project responds to the investment priorities, objectives and actions assumed by Romania within the 2014-2020 POCU State, respectively the valorisation of human capital, as a resource for a sustainable development in the future.
