The general objective of the project “Works modernisation/extension for electrical, ventilation, air treatment and medical fluid infrastructure, as well as the installation of detection, signalling, fire alarm systems and in case of exceedance of the maximum oxygen concentration for 9 hospitals in the ASSMB Administration — CLINIC SPITAL OF PSIHIATRIE PROFESOR DOCTOR ALEXANDRU OBREGIA”, it is represented by increasing patient safety in public hospital structures using medical gases and fluids, by equipping the Clinical Psychiatry Hospital “Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia” with detection, signalling, fire alarm systems, with total coverage, and signaling and alarm detection in case of exceedance of the maximum permissible concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere, as well as by replacing the degraded electrical network. At the same time, the proposed project will ensure the necessary capacity to respond in a timely and effective manner to the health crisis, contributing to the achievement of the immediate implementation indicator of the programme, namely Public Entities equipped/supported for the management of the health crisis caused by SARS-CoV-2. Equally, the overall objective of the project is also consistent with the specific objective of the call, namely — Specific Objective 9.1. Increase the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis, thus contributing fundamentally to the achievement of the Programme’s result indicator. The objective of the project also starts from the urgent and real needs of the hospital in the context of the COVID-19 pademia. The project contributes to the result indicator of POIM 2S132 — adequate care and treatment capacity for cases of SARS VOC-2/infection to manage the health crisis. The indicator is qualitative: Before the LIOP intervention: NO, NO, NO, NO. After the LIOP intervention: YES, YES. The main purpose of the project is to facilitate the access of the population to public health services with modernised medical infrastructure, access to health for patients in need of admission, in order to ensure a timely and efficient response of the medical system to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
