COVID-19 is a highly contagious virus that has already caused an unprecedented health crisis and the death of a large number of people globally, including Romania. Given the imminence of the resumption of pre-university education through the physical presence in schools of pupils and teachers, the limitation of the spread of the virus, as well as the extremely serious effects of it on the Romanian population, can be achieved by ensuring the availability of medical protection equipment and ensuring the minimum hygienic-sanitary conditions necessary, so that the Ciupecenii Noi commune by implementing the project “Processing materials for the education unit in the municipality of Ciupercenii Noi” by properly equipping the state pre-university education unit within the territorial administrative unit aims to achieve the following result: Adequate capacity to manage the health crisis, by reducing the risk of spreading SARS-Cov-2 infection in the public pre-university education system. Protecting the health of the population in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic by increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis within the education unit in the municipality of Ciupercenii Newi, by making investments that lead to strengthening the capacity to respond to the public health crisis. The overall objective of the project is to ensure an adequate capacity to manage the health crisis for the Secondary School “Nicoale Caras” by reducing the risk of spreading the infection with SARS — VOC-2, the target that can be achieved exclusively through funding support under this project proposal The way in which the project contributes to the result indicator of POIM 2S132 — Adequate care and treatment capacity for cases of SARS-CoV-2/sanitary crisis management is a significant one given that the applicant receives aid through financing so that it can reach the indicator that is qualitative, its measuring unit being: Before the LIOP intervention: NO, NO, NO, NO. Thus, at the level of educational institutions, the budget is limited given that the latter are not principal authorising officers and the ATU Common Ciupercenii Newi has a considerably diminished budget compared to previous years due to the crisis at national level and beyond.
