Modernisation/extension works for electrical, ventilation, air handling and medical fluid infrastructure, as well as installation of detection, signalling, fire alarm systems and in case of exceedance of maximum oxygen concentration for Colentina Clinical Hospital

The overall objective of the project is to increase the safety of patients of Colentina Clinical Hospital, in order to manage the health crisis caused by SARS COV-2 virus, which aims to protect the health of the population and develop public health services by modernising and expanding the electrical, ventilation and air treatment infrastructure, as well as the medical fluid infrastructure, in a period of 18 months. Equally, the overall objective of the project is consistent and aims at achieving the specific objective of the call — LIOP/935/9.1 Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis, thus contributing fundamentally to the achievement of the Programme’s result indicator. Also, the objective of the project was established starting from the real needs and needs of the security system related to the occurrence of disastrous fire events. The main purpose of the project is to facilitate the access of the population to public health services with modernised medical infrastructure, access to health for patients in need of admission, in order to ensure a timely and efficient response of the medical system to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
