Increasing the capacity of the Resita General Directorate for Social Assistance and Child Protection and the residential units subordinated to it to manage the COVID-19 health crisis in the current epidemiological context. The objective of the project contributes directly to the result indicator of the programme by the fact that the procurements proposed within the project contribute to the increase of the capacity of the Applicant and the Partner, as well as of the subordinate residential centers, to manage the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 virus. By equipping the Partner’s institution and its subordinates with equipment for treatment, decontamination prevention, protection against COVID-19, will improve the care and treatment capacity of the beneficiaries of social services, as well as the management of the emergency situation caused by the Covid crisis — 19, thus leading to the fulfilment of the LIOP result indicator — adequate care and treatment capacity of cases of SARS-COV-2 infection to manage the health crisis. Also, by purchasing additional equipment and consumables and protective materials, in the implementation of the project, the capacity of the institutions for prevention, care and treatment of cases of SARS Cov2 infection will be increased. Result indicator of POIM 2S132- Adequate ability to care and treat cases of SARS-CoV-2/infection to manage the epidemiological crisis. The indicator is qualitative: Before the POIM Intervention: No- The situation within the subordinated institutions of DGASPC envisaged in this project is a precarious one in terms of equipment and protective materials for the management of beneficiaries of social services that confirm positive COVID, all the equipment existing before the LIOP intervention was insufficient and with an extremely high degree of wear. After the LIOP intervention: YES, YES. After the implementation of the project will improve the protection and care capacity of the beneficiaries, as well as the management of the emergency situation caused by the Covid crisis — 19.
