Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis at Dorohoi Municipal Hospital, by making investments that lead to strengthening the response capacity to the public health crisis. Adequate capacity to manage the health crisis: Before the intervention: there is a strategy focused on the rapid detection of COVID-19 cases, with a view to limiting transmission and obtaining evidence of Community transmission. Prioritisation of testing is done in descending order of importance: symptomatic persons with international travel history; close symptomatic contacts of confirmed cases; symptomatic medico-sanitary personnel; cases of pneumonia without any other aetiology, of all age categories; cases of SARI without any other etiology. The number of patients infected with COVID-19 requiring testing and treatment increases exponentially, from day to day. These events, and in particular their specific evolution, must be regarded as unpredictable. From the point of view of equipment, protective equipment and biocides, although efforts have been made to purchase medical equipment in accordance with the current and sufficient rules in the epidemiological context, in general the facilities within the hospital are mostly inferior to the current norms and cannot meet the requirements for patients suspected or confirmed with SARS-CoV 2 infection. — After the POIM intervention: it will increase the capacity of the medical unit to manage the large number of cases in aggressive dynamics and adequate and sufficient equipment to give a medical act in an epidemiological context. All these activities will be carried out at Dorohoi Municipal Hospital by its staff employed. In order to combat the outbreak caused by SARS-CoV 2, the hospital must permanently provide a sufficient stock of protective equipment, single folisnta materials, sanitation materials, disinfectants for the protection of patients/partners/medical and non-medical personnel operating within the health unit. The coronavirus outbreak and the public health crisis place the hospital under extreme pressure, these circumstances requiring substantial additional resources, and the need for increased availability of vital medical devices has increased considerably. The project contributes directly to the objective of Axis 9 and Investment Priority 9.1, with the aim of financing the public health system, in order to manage the emergency situation caused by the COVID-19 health crisis. The result indicator of POIM 2S132 — Adequate ability to care and treat cases of SARS-CoV-2/infection to manage the health crisis is qualitative: Before the LIOP intervention: NO, NO, NO, NO. After the LIOP intervention: YES, YES. Equipping with protective equipment and medical equipment that will be used in a direct manner
