INCREASING THE CAPACITY TO MANAGE THE COVID-19 HEALTH CRISIS FOR PUPILS AND TEACHERS FROM KINDERGARTENS IN ALESD CITY, BIHOR COUNTY

Limiting the spread of the virus, as well as its extremely serious effects on the population of Romania, can be achieved by ensuring the availability of equipment/devices/protective materials and ensuring the minimum hygienic-sanitary conditions necessary, so that it is necessary to properly equip the State Preschool Education Units in order to obtain the following result: • Adequate capacity to manage the health crisis, by reducing the risk of spreading SARS-COV-2 infection in the public system of pre-university and/or university education. By equipping with the necessary equipment/devices/protective materials to avoid the transmission of the virus and ensuring the minimum sanitary hygienic conditions required, it is necessary to properly equip the Preschool Education Units, directly, to prevent infection with SARS-COV-2. Thus, the ability to prevent the illness of children and teaching staff will be improved. Starting from this situation, the overall objective of the project is outlined: • protecting the health of the population by limiting the spread of SARS-COV-2 virus/infection to the State Preschool Education Units within the U.A.T. Alesd city, as a result of ensuring the minimum hygienic-sanitary conditions necessary in this context — conditions obtained through the implementation of this project. Purpose of the project — strengthening the capacity of the State Preschool Education Units within the range of U.A.T. Alesd City in order to manage the pandemic situation generated by SARS-COV-2 virus/infection. At this time U.A.T. Alesd City does not have the necessary facilities to respond to the level of illness, but by implementing the project financed by the LIOP, it will acquire not only the ability to quickly detect people infected with SARS-CoV-2 virus, but also the ability to protect children and teaching staff and to intervene in stopping the spread of the virus through decontamination. Therefore, taking into account the types of acquisitions made prior to the submission of the financing application, it is noted that at this moment the intervention capacity of the Alesd City Hall is a small one, the educational act being greatly hampered. In the absence of funding the LIOP cannot talk about a real intervention capacity, especially since the number of people infected with COVID-19 is constantly increasing. Through the intervention of LIOP, the State Preschool Education Units from U.A.T. Alesd City are equipped with protective equipment, mobile medical devices designed to ensure the minimum hygienic-sanitary conditions necessary to prevent and reduce the potential spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection and to manage the emergency situation caused by the COVID crisis — 19.
