Building a smart gas distribution grid with a length of approximately 69,219 Km, with 100 % functionality, in order to increase the level of flexibility, safety, efficiency in operation and integration of transport, distribution and final consumption activities. The projects proposed under this specific objective will finance the following activities: Building smart gas distribution grids, including installations, equipment and facilities related to smart functionalities, in particular, but not limited to: • Intelligent instruments in the field of pressure, flow, metering, internal pipe inspection, odorisation, cathodic protection, anticipatory reactions, traceability, sensors/detectors, distribution regulators, remotely driven taps, excess flow valves and remote disconnection, smart meters, communication pathways for the control of the smart gas network, dispatches for distribution operators, SCADA applications, GIS, smart billing, etc.); • Integrated IT technologies enabling the integration of the activities of gas market participants in the processes of transmission, distribution, storage and use of gas through the active participation of end-users in increasing the efficiency of gas networks; • Technologies that ensure increased reliability of gas supply, ensure continuous, safe and cost-effective access to gas, and also provide technical capabilities to provide customers with new services that optimise gas consumption. • Construction of adjustment, measurement — handover stations of natural gas and connection to the existing Transmission System solely for the purpose of supplying an intelligent distribution network proposed by a project. • Construction of inland natural gas distribution networks for public administrative buildings connected to the smart distribution network of natural gas proposed by the project (city building, social centers, schools, etc.), where non-economic activities are carried out. • Construction of connections for domestic consumers up to the limit of public property. In this context, ATU Murfatlar has the possibility to apply for financing for the development of the natural gas distribution network in Murfatlar town and Siminoc village The number of households proposed to be connected by the project are in total 3432, representing the equivalent of 1362 connections, of which: 989 individual households a 338 housing blocks/equivalent of 2245 households a 35 public institutions/equivalent of 198 households By reference to the current length of natural gas distribution networks with intelligent functionalities (56.694 km), the project will ensure an increase of the share of intelligent distribution networks by 0.12 %, therefore the value of the result indicator through project 2S135 will be 0.12 %
