Given that limiting the spread of the virus, as well as its extremely serious effects on the population of Romania, can be achieved only by ensuring the availability of medical devices and devices, it is necessary to properly equip the public health units in which cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection are treated. The Institute of Pneumophtiziology “Marius Nasta” is a public health unit with beds, with legal personality, subordinated to the Ministry of Health, according to the Government Decision no. 144/2020 on the organisation and functioning of the Ministry of Health, with subsequent completions and amendments.
