Supporting the state pre-university education units in the municipality of Odoreu, respectively the Odoreu GIMNAZIAAL SCOAL and GRADINITA WITH PROGRAM PRELUNGIT for managing the situation caused by the risk of infection with SARS-Cov-2 virus, by ensuring the functional infrastructure and the necessary material resources in order to be able to apply the sanitary and minimum protection measures in the school year in progress. The closure of school units in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic has had negative consequences for both children’s educational progress and emotional health and, moreover, their online safety. Romanian students want to go to school. The closure of schools and the arbitrary organisation of online school courses, where possible and without tools to assess the quality of the education process, led to limit situations. One of them is particularly serious: restricting access to education for vulnerable students without internet access and/or devices enabling them to participate online. Social inequalities have been aggravated for students who did not have access to online school, and isolation, marginalisation and discrimination have long-term educational and psycho-emotional repercussions. The project contributes to the result indicator of POIM 2S132 — Adequate ability to care and treat cases of SARS-CoV-2/infection to manage the health crisis. The indicator is qualitative: Before the LIOP intervention: NO, NO, NO, NO. After the LIOP intervention: YES, YES. In the current pandemic context created by SARS-Cov-2 virus, we consider it appropriate to equip the educational units in Odoreu commune with personal protective equipment and medical devices necessary to prevent and reduce the potential spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The overall objective of the project is a consequence of the achievement of the specific objectives, mentioned below, and the specific objectives are achieved as a result of the activities proposed within the project.
