The overall objective of the project is to increase the timely and efficient response capacity of the Piatra Neamt County Emergency Hospital (SJU) to the COVID-19 crisis for the safe management of the COVID-19 health crisis by rehabilitating, upgrading and expanding the infrastructure of medical fluids, electrical installations, ventilation and air conditioning systems to increase fire safety within Piatra Neamt County Emergency Hospital and the installation of detection, signalling, fire alarm systems, with total coverage, and signalling and alarm detection in case of exceedance of the maximum concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere in order to increase the level of fire safety. The overall objective contributes to the programme result indicator 2S132 — Adequate care and treatment capacity for cases of SARS-Cov-2/infection to manage the health crisis. The project contributes to achieving the objectives of the LIOP being a project aimed at protecting the health of the population in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. It directly contributes to the specifics of the call by increasing the safety of patients in public hospital structures that use medical fluids by preventing fires caused by high levels of oxygen or certain other defects that may occur. The project also contributes to secondary themes equal opportunities through the staff that will ensure the implementation of the project, as well as through access to health services offered by the Applicant without distinction based on sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation.
