Modernisation of transformer stations from DELGAZ Grid management in order to take over electricity produced from renewable resources in safe conditions of operation at SEN — Siret, Bucecea, Dorohoi stations

Overall objective of the project: Increasing the security of the takeover of electricity produced from renewable resources by reducing the number of interruptions, reducing the amount of non-delivered electricity and reducing the maintenance costs of the electricity distribution network of DELGAZ GRID S.A. The realisation of the investment proposed in this project, following which will be modernised 3 transformer stations with a high degree of importance for the energy system in the region of Moldova contribute to the achievement of the specific objective 6.1 Increase of energy production from less exploited renewable resources (biomass, biogas, geothermal) — the distribution sector of the Large Infrastructure Operational Programme. The contribution of the project to the achievement of the specific objective of the Programme is supported by the following elements: O The project contributes to the increase of electricity consumption from renewable resources by carrying out works to modernise 3 power stations, thus ensuring optimal technical conditions for the takeover, transformation and distribution of electricity produced from renewable sources. The 110/20 kV EGGER station is a new, modern transformer station, with the start date of 2014. The production groups flow to 20 kV, and through 2 110/20 kV transformers, 50 MVA, the energy is discharged at 110 kV voltage. Due to the fact that the power required to consume the EGGER station is much lower than the installed power, part of the energy produced and inserted into the 20 kV bars of the station is converted to 110 kV voltage and transported through 110 kV lines to the SEN. The discharge of the energy produced by EGGER can be done on the 2 lines of 110 kV to the adjacent transformer stations in Suceava, Radauti and Hurmuzachi, or to Botosani area on the 110 kV line to Siret station and then to Bucecea and Dorohoi stations. Plan G01/11/2018 presents the electric monofilar diagram of SEN. In the 110/20 kV Siret transformer station, 20 kV lines flow the Rogojesti MHC hydro power plant with an installed power of 3.2 MW, and in Bucecea station, in the 20 kV bar, it debits the MHC Bucecea hydro power plant, with an installed power of 1.2 MW. A proposed project contributes, therefore, to the achievement of the target assumed by Romania in the context of the Europe 2020 strategy-24 % final consumption of energy from renewable resources. the supply of electricity in the North-East Development Region by carrying out modernisation and integration works in the SCADA system of 3 transformer stations in Suceva and Botosani counties. The effects of the modernisation and integration into SCADA of the three identified transformation stations may be
