Protecting people’s health in the City of Pecica and Affecting Villages in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

The overall objective of the project is to reduce the risk of spreading the infection with SARS — VOC — 2 by equipping the educational units of the public pre-university education system in the city of Pecica and the villages belonging to Turnu and Sederhat with sanitary materials/equipment. The purpose of the project is to equip the educational establishments in Pecica and the villages belonging to Turnu and Sederhat with medical protection equipment such as single-use masks, disposable gloves, disinfection substances — necessary to ensure hygiene and disinfection in order to reduce the risk of infection and spread of COVID-19 infection, which would jeopardise the normal development of all teaching activities necessary for the educational process. By equipping the locations where the two educational units within UAT City Pecica operate, it ensures adequate capacity to manage the health crisis in the context of the pandemic created by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The project contributes to the result indicator of POIM 2S132 — Adequate care and treatment capacity for cases of SARS-CoV-2/management infection. The indicator is qualitative: Before the LIOP intervention: NO, NO, NO, NO. After the LIOP intervention: YES, YES.
