Improving the quality of life and living conditions of the population and the development of human capital in the Romanian municipality, through the rehabilitation, modernisation, extension and endowment of the Carol I School building for compulsory general education, the construction and endowment of the School Sport Hall, the rehabilitation and endowment of the Garden and the rehabilitation and modernisation of public roads in the disadvantaged Nicolae Bălcescu district of the Romanian Municipality, in order to revitalise the educational, social, physical and economic of the local community and sustainable urban development. The project contributes to the achievement of Specific Objective 13.1 of Investment Priority 9b — Axis 13, by proposing integrated activities of rehabilitation and modernisation of the educational infrastructure (rehabilitation, modernisation, extension and endowment of the School building, construction and endowment of the Sports Hall related to the school, rehabilitation and endowment of the Garden) for the disadvantaged population in a disadvantaged neighborhood — Nicolae Bălcescu district, at the same time with the rehabilitation and modernisation of adjacent streets and public roads, aiming at the educational, social, physical and economic revitalisation of the neighborhood and, implicitly, of the city that is located in a disadvantaged area, in the North-East Region. The implementation of the project will have as a final result the improvement of the quality of life of the Romanian municipality.
