León is a city with a high ratio of green areas per inhabitant, but the distribution of them is not balanced, reducing in the north area to 3 m²/hab. compared to the 24 m²/hab. on average of the city. On the other hand, these green spaces are scattered, untreated, obsolete or neglected. A situation that has been aggravated by the abandonment of the use of agricultural land or land under urbanisation stagnated by the economic crisis that the city suffers. _x000D_ with this operation seeks to influence Challenges 2 and 4 raised in EDUSI (Building a cohesive and integrated city reducing inequalities and promoting a sustainable model that reduces the ecological footprint), launching a set of projects that help solve the problem of the area in relation to urban gaps and environmental quality (PA6 and PA7)._x000D_ The neighborhoods of the EDUSI, the result of an unstructured urban development, present large urban voids in contrast with areas of very high area occupation. The existence of unused soils, abandoned, with problems of discharge or risk of fire or unfinished or undeveloped sectors, form an image of the unfinished area and degradation. In contrast, there is an insufficient supply of green areas of proximity, as well as a lack of conservation and obsolescence of the small existing gardens, problems of traffic congestion caused by high densities and narrow road tissues covered by the vehicle and a difficult accessibility and practicability of the public space._x000D_ The set of actions that make up this operation seek to solve the aforementioned problem by acting in different points of the field and forming a network of green spaces connected, accessible, equal, efficient in its operation and maintenance, that rebalance the city and improve from an environmental perspective the northern area of León.
