The transformation of the station is motivated, on the one hand, by the lack of platform doors, an indispensable requirement for operation in automatic driving mode (driverless) with which the L11 line operates. Even so, the existence of platform doors would be incompatible with the operation of line L4. On the other hand, it is intended to achieve an improvement in the operating time of the L4 and a shorter lap time, in addition to using the two tracks of the station in order to be able to operate the trains in an alternative way. For all this, we must segregate the operation of the two lines that today operate in a common way._x000D_ Also, it seeks to optimise the logistics of trains in the tail of maneuvers adjacent to the station, allowing more movements, better logic of access to the workshop and more space to park._x000D_ The works will consist mainly in the execution of a new platform attached to the existing one, as if it were prolonged but with a smaller width for the L11, where platforms will be placed. In this way, the L4 trains can park to either of the two tracks, with which a train can leave earlier from the previous station and the L11 can circulate at this point also with automatic driving._x000D_ To generate the necessary space and its connection with the current platform, some installations will be moved and the configuration of tail tracks will be modified, in such a way that, in addition, all movements are allowed to each other. Finally, emergency exits will also be formed from the new platform, facilities will be renovated and railway signs will be adapted to the new configuration.
