Integral rehabilitation of the building called “Tinglado 5” that allows the development of a better port operation in relation to all types of customs and para-customs controls that ensures the multimodal link for the supply and trade of the City. These investments will allow an improvement in access to the region, improving the traffic of goods by sea, and increasing the quality of services provided by the port._x000D_ _x000D_ The remodeling will include the optimisation of the current internal distribution, as well as the creation of new facilities for use by the Port Authority. The action also covers the adaptation of an area of about 180 m² in the southeast corner of the building where the Border Merchandise Control Facilities (IFCM) of the Port of Melilla will be installed, so that they comply with current regulations. The planned actions consist of: repairs of the roof, facades and solade; adequacy of electrical installations, firefighting, air conditioning, water and sanitation; replacement of carpentry, rehabilitation of exterior sidewalks and interior redistribution of spaces.
