The project proposal will identify existing mechanisms for reporting, reporting and popularising among society and institutions violations of rights related to the exercise of work in Bulgaria. The best practices identified will be applied in the development of an electronic platform for data collection, reporting and promotion of results and analyses among workers/employees and institutions of violations of rights related to the exercise of work in Bulgaria. The draft proposal also includes the preparation of analyses of violations of rights related to the exercise of work in the field of: 1. Right of association in trade unions. Exercise of trade union rights 2. Violations, working hours, breaks and holidays 3. Violations of the conclusion and implementation of collective agreements and the obligations to inform and consult workers/employees 4. Health and safety violations 5. Violations related to non-payment of due wages for periods exceeding two monthly obligations of the employer 6. Violations of Social Security Rights 7. Others The project envisages research and re-information on violations of rights related to the exercise of work through an information tracking mechanism, including in regional and national media, as well as information on proposals to improve labour law, labour and social policy. The project proposal will draw the attention of the competent state authorities to the issues related to violations of rights related to the exercise of work in Bulgaria. The analyses will justify the need to take legislative and control steps in order to protect employees’ rights in order to fully implement them in Bulgaria and achieve maximum impact on society.
