The main objective of the project is B.C. “Improving the safety of pedestrians and cyclists in the city of Gdańsk” is to improve the safety of road traffic, pedestrians and cyclists in the area of impact of the project. The project aims to reduce the number of road traffic incidents as much as possible, and thus the number of people killed and injured. The retrofitting of pedestrian crossings in the districts covered by the project is a necessary action leading to the achievement of the main objective of the Project. The project is located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the city of Gdańsk. Tasks that fall within the scope of the Project will be carried out in nine districts of Gdańsk: Jasień, Western Mountains, Orunia-Sw.Wojciech-Lipce, Oliwa, Osowa, Jasień, Piecki Migowo, Chełm, and Wrzeszcz. The scope of the project includes: Designation of pedestrian crossings – 6 pcs: Purchase of a traffic town – 3 units: Purchase of a pedestrian crossing simulator – 3 pcs: In addition, the Project has planned tasks related to project management and information and promotion activities.
