“Construction of the A2 motorway, p. Minsk Mazowiecki – Siedlce”

The project concerns the construction of the A2 motorway. Minsk Mazowiecki – Siedlce by L. 37.43 km, located on the TEN-T core network in the North Sea-Baltic corridor. The project is located in Mazowieckie Voivodeship, in the city of Siedlce, in the districts of: Minsk, Węgrowski, Siedlecki, in the following communes: Kałuszyn, Mrozy, Grębków, Kotuń, Mokobody, Skórzec and Siedlce. The project consists of three sections, implemented as separate contracts for design and construction works: • node “Ryczołek” (without a knot) – node “Groszki” (with a knot), • node “Groszki” (without a knot) – node “Grzezów” (without a knot), • node “Grzezów” (with a knot) – node “Swoboda” (with a knot). The beginning of the construction of the A2 motorway was adopted at the existing Ryczołek junction. The route then follows a new trail towards the east through agricultural and forest areas, where the type of farm development dominates, bypassing built-up areas. The highway bypasses the village of Kałuszyn from the south. The Groszki junction will be further designed, which will be a link between the A2 motorway and the existing national road 2 (hereinafter dk2).
