The applicant in the project is the Municipality of Biała which, as a JU, meets the eligibility requirements resulting from the ROP LO for the years 2014 – 2020. The aim of the project is to increase the production of energy from renewable sources by 1 130.14 MWh/year, allowing to reduce the use of conventional energy sources and emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere by 703,98 tonnes of CO2/equivalent per year and improve air quality in the Biała Municipality. The material scope of the project includes the design and implementation of the supply, installation and commissioning of 182 photovoltaic installations, 4 installations of solar collectors and the replacement of 6 boilers for pellet boilers in private buildings, in free-standing buildings. The direct users of the project are the participants of the project (191 property owners and their families, the estimated number of people is 668) and the other inhabitants of the Biała Municipality-4753 people as well as (due to the trans-territorial nature of air pollution and the scale of their spread) the entire district of Wieluń. The project is technically feasible; the technologies for the execution of works, the materials used will be publicly available and known, and the technical solutions will be functionally correct and comply with applicable legal standards. The design uses mechanisms that take into account all users according to the concept of universal design. The project carried out the development of a feasibility study and a Functional-Utilisation Programme, tasks to be carried out: construction work, supervision inspector, project promotion.
