Modernisation and reconstruction of outpatient specialist care offices in order to improve the availability and quality of medical services provided

The subject of the project is the modernisation and reconstruction of the hospital and the purchase of medical equipment for diagnostics and oncological treatment, in order to reduce mortality and incidence of malignant tumors. The result of the project will be an enlarged and improved area for medical activities in the framework of: • Outpatient Specialist Care for the needs of the Endoscopy Laboratory located in the Provincial Oncological Clinic, • Ambulatory Specialist Care for all specialisations, which deal with oncological treatment, including, but not limited to, cancers of the large intestine, breast, lung, prostate, skin, etc. and the acquisition of modern medical equipment for diagnosis and oncological treatment. Duration of the project: Q4 2022 – Q4 2023. The strategic goal of the project is to increase the effectiveness and quality of medical services by improving access to the highest quality diagnostic and therapeutic processes and comprehensive and coordinated care of the oncological patient. The direct target group is WWCOiT M. Copernicus in Łódź. The intermediate target group is the inhabitants of the Lodz region of adults who have been affected by cancer. The project is addressed to a regional community, among which the following subgroups can be distinguished: 1. Patients diagnosed for cancer, 2. Patients treated for cancer as part of comprehensive and coordinated medical care. Planned activities: — preparation of design documentation – modernisation and reconstruction of space in the oncological building for the development of the Endoscopic Laboratory – modernisation and reconstruction of space for the needs of AOS offices – investor and author supervision – purchase of medical equipment – project promotion
