The project includes the construction of photovoltaic micro-installations in 47 public utility buildings in Pruszcz Gdański and Trąbki Wielkie Commune. The installations will be used to generate electricity from solar energy for the own needs of the facilities. The project results from the need to ensure energy security, increase the use of renewable energy sources, reduce the costs of electricity consumption, as well as the need to protect the environment by reducing emissions of pollutants into the air. The project will install energy production facilities with a renewable energy generation capacity of 0.64 MW. The action will result in an annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions estimated at 507.2 Mg CO2. The implementation of the project will contribute to achieving the direct objective of increasing the capacity to generate energy from renewable sources in public buildings in the Municipality of Pruszcz Gdański and Trąbki Wielkie.
