The aim of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of public buildings from the Końskie commune. This objective will be achieved by carrying out works related to the deep thermal modernisation of the facilities: Public Library of the City and Municipality of Końskie – branches in Dziebałtów, Educational Institutions Complex in Pomyków and a rural common room in Sworzyce. As part of the activities, it is planned to insulate external walls and roofs/bottoms, replace window and door joinery, installation of photovoltaic installations, modernisation of the heating system and comprehensive replacement of lighting with energy-saving ones. All purchased and installed, as part of the project, fixed assets will be new. For each of the buildings covered by the project, the decrease in final energy demand is: library branch in Dziebałtów – 84.90 %, ZPO in Pomyków – 59.04 %, common room in Sworzyce – 70.44 %. Reference to project implementation indicators: implementation of the project will reduce final energy consumption (644.30 GJ/year), as well as achieve thermal energy savings (540.11 GJ/year) and electricity (7.32 MWh/year) in the projects covered by the project. The project is in line with the specific objectives set out for Priority Axis 7 Effective and Green Energy and is in line with the objectives of Action 3.3 on increasing the energy efficiency of public buildings. The project will also contribute to reducing pollutant emissions (estimated annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions – 56.22 tonnes of CO2/year equivalent) and significantly reduce maintenance charges. The project results from the Low Emission Economy Plan for the City and Municipality of Końskie and is in line with the Air Quality Programme for Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and Directive 2007/60/EC.
